Concordia's English Department affiliates with Harvard's Institute for World Literature (IWL)

The Department of English has become an Institutional Affiliate of The Institute for World Literature (IWL). With its headquarters at Harvard University and other partners around the world, the IWL seeks to offer scholarly engagement and to promote research on world literature in a global perspective through its international summer seminars for graduate students and faculty.  Three of our graduate students have been accepted to participate in the four week IWL 2015 program to be held at the University of Lisbon this summer. Future summer seminar locations include Harvard University (2016), and Academia Sinica in Taipai Taiwan (2017).
