This seminar will shed light on the ongoing crisis in Nigeria with the Boko Haram insurgent group. A historical context will be given, as well as an analysis of Nigeria’s state response to the insurgency. Speakers include Daniel Douek (Concordia University), Cedric Jourde (University of Ottawa), and Frank Chalk (Concordia University).
