13th annual Concordia University Department of English Graduate Students’ Colloquium

CEGC (Concordia English Graduate Colloquium):   February 27 - March 1   2015

Concordia's University English Graduate Colloquium has been growing steadily since it's inception in 2003, and is now a weekend-long conference celebrating literature in all its forms. Starting with a Creative Open Mike that invites all attendees to informally gather to support and be supported in their creative development, the Colloquium proper hosts two days of panels featuring creative, critical, and hybrid presentations showcasing both streams of study available to Concordia's English graduate students.

Our call for papers is typically published in November to ensure English students from across the country and across the border are able to submit. The colloquium provides its speakers with the opportunity to engage with their peers, refine presentation skills, and workshop the ideas that will complement their coursework and research projects. Working alongside members of the English Department faculty and the Student Association of Graduates in English (SAGE), the Colloquium Committee invites you to join us for a weekend of literary creativity and criticism.
