Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre
Concordia's Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre, originally known as the Refectory, was renamed in 2011 following a $4-million fundraising campaign to refurbish the historical venue.

The 95-year-old building has been open since 1916, when Loyola was still a Catholic school for boys. The centre was upgraded for future generations thanks to the support of energetic volunteer fundraisers, many of whom are members of the Loyola Alumni Association (LAA) and fiercely proud of their Jesuit education.
Since February 2012, the Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre has been open to Concordia staff, faculty, students, alumni, as well as the external community. The elegance of the original building is now combined with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to host meetings, receptions, weddings, business and personal events.
The project was the initiative of the Loyola Alumni Association as it marked its centenary. Campaign leaders John Lemieux, L BA 66, John Collyer, L BComm 66, Jim Donaldson, L BSc 52, Donal Ryan, BComm 67 worked tirelessly to see this project to fruition.
Conference rooms bear the names of key donors: Rod Rousseau, L BComm 53, James Stanford, L BSc 58, LLD 00 and former Concordia Chancellor David O’Brien, L BA 62.
A second phase of refurbishment is pending to complete work on the upper levels of the centre.
