Faculty & school priorities
Graduate Student Support

Doctoral and master’s fellowships enable Concordia to attract and retain more of the best and brightest graduate students.
To increase our graduate student recruitment we must increase the level of financial support we can offer them.
Undergraduate Student support
More than half of Concordia’s full-time undergraduate students depend on some form of financial aid from governments and the university to complete their studies. For many, financial support makes the difference between completing their degree or not.
Teaching and Research

A strong research profile has enormous benefits for Concordia. Top faculty members will in turn attract top students. With fierce competition for funds from granting agencies, external sources of funds are limited. Additional funds are required to ensure research continues to develop and prosper.
Equipment and Technology
Each year the faculties are allotted a budget to replace and add new equipment and technology to the various labs in both the pure sciences and social sciences. Donors are encouraged to make in-kind gifts of equipment or sponsoring needed equipment (eg. computer lab, media labs, etc).
Student Initiatives and Curriculum Enhancers

We want students to participate in activities that add to their educational experience beyond the classroom. These include student-run seminars and conference opportunities to meet leaders in their study area.
