The Washington D.C. alumni chapter proudly hosts this year's All Canada University Association's event in Washington D.C. Special guests to lead a round-table discussion on Canadian journalism and its international impact will be:
- Joyce Napier, BA (Journalism) 81, has experience as a foreign correspondent for the CBC/Radio-Canada in Jerusalem and Washington, DC.
- Gwen Tolbart, BA (Journalism) 95 is an Emmy award winning weather anchor/reporter for Fox News (WTTG Fox5) and has received numerous awards and recognition for her civic work in the U.S. and Canada.
- Linda Kay, MA (Communication Studies) 01, is chair and associate professor of Journalism at Concordia University
- Barbara Hines, Ph.D., Director of the Graduate Program in Mass Communications/Media Studies in the Department of Journalism at Howard University
Marie Claire Morin, vice-president, Advancement and Alumni Relations, will also be in attendance.
