Many business transactions and work interviews take place over lunch or dinner.
Join fellow students for cocktails and dinner in a workshop that will teach you everything you need to know about creating a good first impression and projecting a professional image during a cocktail event and a meal. You'll learn how to conduct yourself in a restaurant or private social setting, how to navigate around a table setting, and more.
Cost (includes workshop, drinks and three-course dinner):
- $25 for Concordia students
- $50 for guests (maximum one guest per person)
Dress code: No jeans
Maximum: 80 people. NOTE: Only those who have NOT participated in a previous dining etiquette workshop may register for this event.

Speaker: Mayme Vineberg
Mayme launched Intimate Settings 11 years ago as a personal concierge service. The company then began developing workshops on the art and etiquette of dining, offering informal yet very informative presentations on entertaining etiquette and social dining etiquette as well as business dining etiquette.
In addition to offering one-on-one coaching and17 group workshops for corporate clients, Vineberg has been the on-air dining etiquette consultant for Montreal radio and television stations.
