Learn how stress affects your body and how to identify its signs and causes. Discover effective stress management strategies, such as relaxation techniques, problem-solving tactics and cognitive strategies. This workshop will also include recommendations for healthy living that can make you less vulnerable to stress, or make stress less intense when it does happen.

Speaker: Owen Moran

A health promotion specialist, Owen Moran has worked at Concordia University Health Services for more than 16 years. His objective is to help students, staff and faculty reach optimal health. To do this, he writes a monthly health newsletter, Health Notes, gives workshops and class presentations, offers one-on-one counselling on topics ranging from smoking cessation to healthy nutrition, and more.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's in Nursing from McGill University.
