Alumni and friends gathered at Culinaria Restaurant in Vancouver on March 22 to network and hear guest speaker Rudy Kerklaan, BSc 75, MBA 77, president of Connor, Clark and Lunn Private Capital Ltd.
Representing Concordia University were Marie Claire Morin, vice-president, Advancement and Alumni Relations, Dominique McCaughey, associate vice-president, Advancement and Alumni Relations as well as Brian Lewis, Brian Lewis, dean, Faculty of Arts and Science.

Rudy Kerklaan, BSc 75, MBA 77

Rudy is vice-chairman of Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital Ltd. in Vancouver. He has worked in the investment industry since 1976 and is one of the founders of Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd.
He graduated from Concordia with a BSc in Chemistry in 1975 and an MBA in 1977. He was also president of the MBA Students Association. In 1981, Rudy earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a few years later became president of the Vancouver Society of Financial Analysts. As well, for more than 20 years he has been a strong supporter of the United Way and has participated in its Vancouver cabinet as Chair of Finance, Leadership and Major Gifts. Rudy and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for 30 years and have two daughters.
