Concordia alumni in Calgary came out to Shelf Life Books for a literary – and literal – taste of Montreal.
The Concordia University Alumni Association hosted a meet and greet, complete with smoked meat sandwiches, which was followed by the bookstore’s Montreal Night. Four former Montreal authors, including Susan Calder, BA 88, read from their work and then discussed how the city affected their writing.
Afterwards, alumni mingled with other Montreal expats and the authors to talk about their own Montreal days.
