Advising & registration
Depending upon your program of study, you may be required to meet with an academic advisor prior to registration. To determine if you require advising, go to your Faculty or School's advising information page:
Remember that if you are required to meet with an adviser before registering, you will not have access to the Web Registration System until you do so.
Student Learning Services assists all students who want to improve their academic skill and learning potential. They offer three ways to help you - through workshops, individual appointments and peer-assisted programs.
The Student Success Centre provides access to programs and activities aimed at promoting academic and personal success, including the Student Success Mentors, the Student Experience Seminars and the Programms for Leadership and University Success.
The Student Transition Centre (formerly the Centre for Mature Students) offers one-on-one academic advice and support to students that have entered the university under the Mature Student status.
The Concordia University Alumni Association and the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations administer an online mentor program, which provides students with the opportunity to contact alumni who have volunteered to provide career coaching.
Returning undergraduate students - if you are a former student who wants to return to Concordia, find out the procedures for returning undergraduate students.
Registration
In order to access the Web Registration System (MyConcordia portal), you will need your Netname and password, your student ID number, which is on your Letter of Acceptance (new students) or your Concordia record (returning students).
Have your Undergraduate Calendar or Graduate Calendar nearby if you wish to see a course description or verify program requirements.
You should prepare for your registration by consulting the Class Schedule and by filling out the Registration Worksheet (PDF file) and Timetable Planner (PDF file). Remember to verify if you are first required to consult with an academic advisor (see Academic Advising section above).
If you are a returning Concordia student, your personal registration start date can be obtained on the MyConcordia portal under the Registration tab.
For more information, please consult the undergraduate online registration guide or the registration start dates to see when you can register online. If you still require assistance, you can contact the Registration Helpline by email or by phone at 514-848-2424, ext 2100.
