Transfer students

Transfer applicants are considered on the basis of both their university and previous studies. If you are transferring from another accredited university, you will be considered for an appropriate level of placement within the undergraduate program at Concordia.

Credit may be awarded for university-level courses that are equivalent to Concordia courses and appropriate to the program to which you are applying. Please note that the evaluation of transfer credit cannot be made until a formal application and all necessary supporting documents have been received.

There are, however, some special conditions attached to the granting of transfer credits. The number of credits awarded depends on the character, quality and quantity of the work completed. A minimum of 45 credits, and in some cases 60 credits, must be taken at Concordia University. For more information on transferring from other post-secondary institutions refer to the Undergraduate Calendar.
