Admissions Timetable

Applications are considered on an ongoing basis in the order in which they become complete. Late applications may be considered where places are still available. Priority, however, is given to applicants who apply by the official deadline. The Faculty of Arts and Science, the John Molson School of Business, and the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science have a rolling admission process allowing International applicants whose file is completed too late to be processed for a given session to be considered for the following entry period.

September is the normal point of entry for undergraduate studies. Entry in January or May is possible for certain programs, where places are available.

The Academic Year

The Academic Year begins with a Summer Session (May to August) followed by a Regular Session (September to April). The Summer Session includes all courses offered between the beginning of May and the end of August. The Regular Session is divided into a Fall Term (September-December) and a Winter Term (January-April), each 15 weeks long. Terms include an examination period, during which any final examination must be held. The Academic Calendar §11 lists precise dates for the beginning and end of classes and examination periods.
