This page outlines Concordia’ admission application deadlines and the academic timetable.

Application deadlines

Applications are considered as soon as they become complete. Priority is given to applicants who apply by the official deadline. Late applications will be considered where places are still available.

Not all programs are available for this term. Please check program availability.

The university reserves the right to close admission to a program at any time after the official deadline without prior notice.

Additional program requirements deadlines

In addition to the basic application, certain programs require additional departmental requirements that may include:

  • portfolio
  • audition
  • interview
  • letter of intent

Applicants must make arrangements to submit those requirements to the department to which they are applying. See Program-specific requirements for more information.

Application assessment period

Applicants who complete their application by the appropriate deadline can expect to receive a decision according to the timetable below.

Canadian February to June September to December
International February to June
September to Mid-November

Please note that the assessment of late applications to some programs may continue until the start of term.

The academic timetable

The academic year begins with a summer session followed by a regular session. September (fall) is the regular point of entry for undergraduate studies. Certain programs may also accept students in January (winter), based on availability. Undergraduate programs are not available for entry in the summer session.

Note: Students starting studies in Engineering in January may be required to take courses during the summer session in order to maintain course sequencing.
