An international search for Concordia University's next President and Vice-Chancellor has now concluded.


Graham Carr was appointed President and Vice-Chancellor,
effective December 12, 2019.

December 12, 2019: Graham Carr appointed President and Vice-Chancellor of Concordia University.

Fall 2019: Search Committee conducted candidate interviews and presented a short-list to a Special Committee of the Board.

May 28, 2019: Position profile approved by the Board of Governors.

April 18, 2019: Concordia community given until May 2 to provide feedback on the final position profile. 

March 18, 2019: Message sent from Chair of the Board, Normand Hébert Jr., to Concordia community asking for feedback on the draft position profile by April 2. 

November 29, 2018: Alan Shepard announces his departure from Concordia as of July 2019. The Board of Governors establishes the advisory search committee.
