MY NAME IS MAYA HEY
My research questions the adage, “You are what you eat.”
I study food as a medium. My work combines the culinary arts with laboratory and gastronomic sciences. I recently produced a "handmade cheese” using bacteria living on my hands.
Without dismissing pleasure, I want people to find alternate ways of being mindful of what we eat.
