This posting represents two full-time 1-year contract positions.

Scope

Reporting to the Director, Records Management and Archives, the incumbent will be responsible to map, analyze and optimize work processes in order to increase the overall University efficiency and productivity.

Primary responsibilities

  • Gather information on work processes by analyzing procedures and policies.
  • Conduct meetings with end users to collect information on procedures and processes in place and to understand their requirement in terms of business process optimization.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Design and map processes based on the information gathering and prepare recommendations for process optimization.
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Prepare adequate documentation.
  • Validate recommendations and proceed to implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration or in a field related to the primary responsibilities and four to seven years of work experience in process analysis and optimization.
  • Good spoken and written English and French (Level 4) in order to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated business process management experience; experience with business process design/improvement, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications.
  • Very good knowledge (Advanced level) of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills; result and solution/problem solving oriented.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical and professional.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Salary

$59,273.00 - $70,790.00 per annum
