Marxist Literary Group's Institute on Society and Culture: Capital, Imperialism, and Racism

The Institute on Culture and Society is the 5-day annual interdisciplinary conference of the Marxist Literary Group. This year's ICS explores the question: what is the relation between capital, imperialism, and racism today?

What to expect

Each day of the conference consists of three panels of paper presentations and two reading groups. The reading groups are a defining characteristic of MLG Institutes, where shared texts are circulated in advance and participants facilitate a seminar-style discussion of the readings with Institute participants.
