GirlSET

July 15 – 26, 2024

Girls Summer Engineering and Technology Program

Studying engineering and technology fosters creativity, innovation and leadership skills that have a positive social impact. GirlSET offers a unique opportunity for girls aged 14 to 17 to immerse themselves in the world of STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math).

The program continues its mission to inspire and empower young women to explore careers in engineering and computer science, equipping them with tools to drive innovation and make a difference in society.

About the program

Participants will be mentored by distinguished engineering students and faculty members from the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science.

In addition to developing crucial problem-solving, analytical thinking and innovative design skills through hands-on activities, students will explore various subjects including computer game creation, structural engineering, artificial intelligence, chemical engineering and software engineering, among many others.
