Black Graduation

Established in 2021, Black Graduation celebrates the hard work, contributions and achievements of Concordia’s Black graduates, while connecting them with a network of Black alumni and community members.

Note: Black Graduation does not replace the spring convocation. Consult Concordia's convocation page for details about the convocation ceremonies and remember to apply to graduate separately.

Register as a Black Graduate

Deadline: May 19, 2024

If you're a Black student who graduated in fall 2023 or will graduate by summer 2024, register as a Black graduate so we can celebrate you!

Upon registration, you'll be added to the Black graduation mailing list and get notified when tickets to the Black Graduation Celebration are available.

Please note: Registration alone does not secure your tickets to the graduation celebration – you’ll need to RSVP to the event.

Attend the Black Graduation Celebration

Join the NouLa Centre for Black Students and the Black Alumni Network to celebrate with Black graduates from across the university, along with friends, family and Concordia community members.

Each graduate may invite two guests and a faculty or staff member who significantly impacted their time at Concordia. Additional tickets may be purchased at a cost. Contact noula@concordia.ca for details.

Come dressed to impress – no cap and gown required!

Submit your graduation photo and remarks

Black graduates who wish to be featured on NouLa’s website, social media and the celebration slideshow can submit their photo and remarks using the form below.
